Is the first day of March all that counts toward the "In like a lamb" thing? Because it was totally lambish yesterday. In the 60's, no wind, gorgeous, gorgeous day. But today is definitely lionish.
This is the Colorado I love. Flip flops one day, snow boots the next!
It is downright nasty! I did pray for one last, huge snowstorm..so we can go sledding..snow before we left. :)
ReplyDeleteI always get confused as to whether it's "in like a lamb" or "in like a lion". Last year, March 1st, I was convinced it was in like a lion because of the horrible tornadoes we had in our state that hit a high school and killed several teenagers.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds pretty much like a lion, Kathy. So the saying is "In like a lion, out like a lamb" or the other way around. I'm curious about where that idea came from that March will end the opposite of how it began...
