This evening I spent some time with some friends. One of them lives in Houston and is in the area for a visit and another friend I only see when the Houston friend is in town, even though she lives in the area. More of an acquaintance, I guess she is. And the other two I keep in touch with. Friends from my old town. It was a nice time.
All in all, a good day, in spite of a dozen bug bites.
So where are the photo's? :)
ReplyDeleteShoot! This does not help my theory that there are no bugs in Colorado!!
ReplyDeleteJan, I don't have a cute little camera that fits in my purse, so there are no pictures. Plus, not everyone I know likes their pictures put on my blog.
ReplyDeleteMel, We had so much rain a week or so ago. This really was unusual. I have only seen mosquitos like that once or twice before, usually near a lake.
I commented on the fact that I felt as though I was walking up a hill (actually I was, between the table of food and my chair). QOTW said, "Do a Charlie Chaplan thingy for us." With incredible timing, as she said that, her styrofoam plate broke in two and her food fell in a pile in front of her. I still have to giggle when I think about the perfect timing!
ReplyDeleteKay, e-mail me with the name of the friends. I want to know who they are.
ReplyDeleteAnd your daughter said (when I asked her) that on the fun level it was a "sorta" So that's good!
Glad you and your family had a nice visit despite the bugs.
ReplyDeleteGood times! I may comment on my blog about the get-together.
