In my yard yesterday evening.
Some of those buildings you see in the distance are downtown Denver. The furthest away, toward the right. The nearer ones are the Tech Center. Beyond that are the mountains of Rocky Mountain National Park - there is too much haze and smog right now to see them.
Wow! Were you inside or out when you took those photos? They're great.
ReplyDeleteA prisoner of hope,
Megan
How beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThat is something else!! Can I be totally not politically correct and ask if you considered that God had sent you meals on wheels with antlers? :0)
ReplyDeleteMegan, I was outside. Unfortunately the deer around here are pretty comfortable around people. I moved very slowly and stayed a good distance away. I used my zoom and also cropped the photo, so I wasn't as close as it may appear.
ReplyDeleteQ - I love living here!
Robbie - yes, you may. I love venison, actually. I thought of my dad who used to go hunting every year. Wonder if he ever saw 3 bucks one spot like that? I'l have to ask.
Beautiful Kay!! :) That is awesome!
ReplyDeleteKay,
ReplyDeleteI showed P. the picture and he said," Wow! Thats in her yard? They are just out there? That would be nice for hunting season." They are very beautiful, but don't let them hurt your doggy. Or charge at you or the kids. Remember The Gorge's deer? They were very aggressive, but you don't feed these, so never mind.
Julie, the kids don't go out when there are deer out there, even does.
ReplyDeleteThe dog went out to go potty, but she just minded her own business and they minded theirs. We are very careful.
The other morning there were three fawns and two does. They were the first fawns I've seen this year. they were further back, so I didn't even try a picture.
Some boys out looking for girls, no doubt. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteWhat an incredible site to have right in your back yard. You should frame the middle shot.
ReplyDeleteOops, I guess I shouldn't say shot in context with this picture. :)
We are too close to the main drag to get that kind of wildlife.
That is just beautiful. I can't believe you get to see such wonderful scenery ALL.THE.TIME.
ReplyDeleteVery cool.
Every year when we go to NH, I ask God to let me see moose. So far, nothing :( But I'll keep asking. Someday, maybe.
Great pictures, Kay. They're making me hungry.
ReplyDeleteWOW! What an incredible blessing to live where you live! You get to look out your window and see God's creatures and creation. Beautiful pictures!
