howdy, ya'll

We spent the day in the Wild West.  Buckskin Joe is a little town made of of old buildings from different parts of Colorado.  The site has been used in the filming of many movies.
Way back, Twenty-three years ago, I worked here for a summer.
Some of the shots are a view of the Royal Gorge.
I didn't take many pictures.  Most of them have my kids and I don't like to put them on here.
It's a fun place to visit if you're ever in Colorado.

  6. Are they all new gunfighters? Ours would probably be pushing 50 by now. I would like to go back if it was cheaper. And it is fun. Did you see any snakes? I used to tell tourists they could keep the reptiles if they could catch them. hee, hee.

  8. Julie,
Yep, they are all new gunfighters. Young un's.
They do have a history house with newspaper articles, etc and there are some pictures of the gang from our time.
    Ahhh, memories.

And nope, no snakes, but we saw some lizards.
