every created thing praise Him

Have you ever walked through a park in the early morning?  The birds are singing and the ducks are quacking.  The squirrels chitter and chatter.  I suppose scientists think they can explain what all of those creatures are doing.  But I think that they are praising their creator.

And now, scientists have recorded the music of the stars!  Please follow this link.  You don't have to read the article, but listen to the recordings.  The first two are individual stars.  The third one is a small cluster of stars.  To me, it sounds very similar to an orchestra tuning up.  And it is but a small cluster!  Imagine what all of the galaxy together sounds like!  Imagine the universe tuning up!

I love this verse.  EVERY created thing!  Everything?  Well, what is under the earth?  Worms?  Demons? What is in the sea?  Dolphins?  Whales?  What is in the heavens?  Angels?  Stars?

And every created thing which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all things in them, I heard saying, "To Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, be blessing and honor and glory and dominion forever and ever." Revelation 5:13

Psalm 148
Praise the LORD!
         Praise the LORD from the heavens;
         Praise Him in the heights!
    2Praise Him, all His angels;
         Praise Him, all His hosts!
    3Praise Him, sun and moon;
         Praise Him, all stars of light!
    4Praise Him, highest heavens,
         And the waters that are above the heavens!
    5Let them praise the name of the LORD,
         For He commanded and they were created.
    6He has also established them forever and ever;
         He has made a decree which will not pass away.
    7Praise the LORD from the earth,
         Sea monsters and all deeps;
    Fire and hail, snow and clouds;
         Stormy wind, fulfilling His word;
    Mountains and all hills;
         Fruit trees and all cedars;
    10 Beasts and all cattle;
         Creeping things and winged fowl;
    11 Kings of the earth and all peoples;
         Princes and all judges of the earth;
    12Both young men and virgins;
         Old men and children.
    13Let them praise the name of the LORD,
         For His name alone is exalted;
         His glory is above earth and heaven.
    14And He has lifted up a horn for His people,
         Praise for all His godly ones;
         Even for the sons of Israel, a people near to Him.
         Praise the LORD!

  3. Wow. That is amazing. Isn't it kind of funny it sounds like sci-fi music, too? Or the sounds under the ocean, like in the old submarine movies?

    Y'know what I've always been interested in? How the rocks can testify.

    I was watching a (maybe Discovery channel?) program about the Crystal Skull, what's interesting is NASA is growing crystal in space for computers and such that record and hold data.

    So, if crystal can hold data, imagine all the rocks all over the world...

  4. Do you remember how you used to preach to your cat because the Scriptures said to preach to all the creatures? Amazing star talk. Thanks for reminding us of that wonderful psalm.

  6. and to think, this is God's backdrop as He listens to rivers, birds, bells, violins and harps and people singing...you are right--everything to His praise!

  7. The October 30 reading in "Jesus Calling" is right on with this thought: "I am with you. I am with you. I am with you. Heaven's bells continually peal with that promise of My Presence. Some people never hear those bells because their minds are earthbound and their hearts are closed to Me. Others hear the bells only once or twice in their lifetimes, in rare moments of seeking Me above all else. My desire is that My "sheep" hear My voice continually, for I am the ever-present Shepherd."

    I think we can hear the bells and/or the entire creation singing...yet we do have to stop and listen.
