prairie song

As I was walking my dog this morning and listening to the prairies calling out His name, (see previous post) I suddenly began singing the chorus:

You are awesome in this place, Mighty God

You are awesome in this place, Abba Father

You are worthy of all praise

To You our lives we raise

You are awesome in this place, Mighty God

Then it occured to me; that song doesn't come to my lips when I am standing in front of a sink of dirty dishes. But is He any less awesome there?

  1. Yes, HE is always there. You know the book you recommended "Quaker Summer" by Lisa Samson - I'm really enjoying it. I like how she is finding God in the dirty kitchen at the Hotel. We can find God if only we look.

  2. How is your dog on the leash?

  3. I didn't mean I didn't like fall, it IS my favorite season. I meant I don't like running my furnace in Sept. :) I do have my pet peeves about halloween decorating, but that's another post. I LOVED Rich Mullins.
