I love this list! Do you know that I never read "A Little Princess"...I read "Secret Garden"...never to late.. I love the Junie B. Jones books..LOL..they remind me of little T. LOL I have laughed till I cried reading those books to her. I liked James and the Giant Peach and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as well. I love books!!
Ooh! I love some of those. I have read Charlotte's Web, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (We read all of Rohl Dahl's books in 5th grade-great), and the Giving Tree.
I love the stories of The Chronicles of Narnia, Mary Poppins, Heidi and A Little Princess! Great Picks!
All these books are so good. Books made the world go round for me when I was a kid. Nothing can change the world of a poor kid like books. At the library they're always free. :)
City of Ember is one of my favorites! Have you read the sequel - The People of Sparks? It's also very good. I tried reading the prequel, but didn't enjoy it as much - I never did finish it. It was a little too mystical for me.
Narnia & Charlie--2 of my faves! But I forgot about Heidi, I read that as a kid!
