My husband and kids were playing "Bat and Ball" yesterday, which is just, you know, hitting the ball with the bat, when my daughter missed a pitch. My husband said, "That was a perfect pitch!" And she replied (in all seriousness), "I know and I had a perfect swing. They just didn't connect."
