Lately I find myself praying simply: "Take care of him. Take care of her."
So many people hurting in so many ways.
I imagine the Lord pulling them to his chest, giving them exactly what they need. Sometimes, I just don't know what else to pray.
At times like that, I am so thankful for Romans 8:26-27 We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. And He who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God's will.
sometimes, that's enough.

ReplyDeleteThat is the purpose of speaking in tongues "with groanings too deep for words* the Spirit prays for us. He knows what to ask for.
